The room was fairly basic but was perfectly clean with a comfortable bed and good shower. The property is in an excellent location, 5 mins walk from the Central Station and close to the .city centre The adjoining public bar was excellent

It's an old hotel so don't expect bells and whistles. Location is great, across the canal from Centraal Station and easy to get to all the sights. But it's a very noisy hotel because of it's location, despite double-glazed windows, which may be a deal breaker for some.

The breakfast every morning was very good with a variety of good food. Our room was very clean and a good size for 4 guests. Comfortable beds. The 4 of us are from Canada. The staff spoke good of English and were very helpful with directions to different places we were visiting. We did not visit the bar.

Clean, quiet except for occasional street noise, helpful staff, superb central location. Breakfast is adequate but no more. A good choice.

The hotel is in a center location, very easy to walk to attractions. It’s in an old building, with reasonable upkeep. The staff were helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was a big plus. One complaint is noise from the streets which lasted late after midnight. We had to wear earplugs to sleep.

The hotel location is amazing, you can walk anywhere to the most common places. The breakfast was great as well. The cleaning was ok although they did not change the bed sheet daily, but generally it was net and clean. Highly recommended, I would say excellent hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options to start the day. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore Amsterdam and access public transportation. The accommodation was comfortable, and the staff/host was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.

this was our 2nd stay here , we were here in 2023 and loved it. Great location ,great staff. I am 70 years old and asked the nice gentleman at the desk if he knew a place where i could rent a wheelchair and he said: "We might have one in the basement." and he went and checked and got me one , said it was the manager's mom's old chair. It was a life saver for me to get around. I was so appreciate and he didn't even charge me. Love, love this Hotel. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are nice and big. the breakfast is great, too.

Wonderful breakfast and very comfortable beds! Our room was quite spacious as well! If this is your first time in Amsterdam or you are nervous about finding your hotel from the train this is a perfect location. If you want something a little quieter you may not like it. If you want to be close to things it’s great choice.
