The hotel was beautiful and sat on the canal. Location was excellent! Room was nice, clean and great bed! Yummy breakfast. Staff was Wonderful! Our room had two floors so for some people the spiral steps could be a problem. I would definitely stay here again!

8/10 Very good

Great staff, great location. Lovely library. Comfortable sleeping room but a bit cramped on space. There is an elevator but you will still have stairs to navigate through the small hallways and I had stairs in my room. I did not have breakfast or lunch in the restaurant but I unfortunately had a disappointing experience at dinner.

8/10 Very good

This was a very nice hotel that had a wonderful collection of books and fine art hanging on every wall throughout the facility. The staff was very helpful, especially in getting our heavy luggage to our room. The room we had was small but very ornate. The only complaint was that was warm outside during our stay and they did not have air conditioning. They told us to open the windows for cooling and there was a Dyson fan in the room. I was very surprised that such an expensive hotel did not have A/C. Location of hotel was very good and the restaurant was very good.

Absolutely lovely hotel! Beautiful rooms, cheerful, helpful staff, walls full of original artwork, central location, excellent restaurant....what more could you want in the centre of Amsterdam. Very quiet and restful after activity filled days. You feel as though you are coming home.

I visit Amsterdam often and have long wanted to stay at this hotel. Too bad it took me so many years - this place is fantastic. The team are friendly and helpful. My room was ready early. It was a canal view with great windows. The brasserie has great food that you can have as room service. Good AC for hot summer nights. Unique styling and design. I loved my experience here and look forward to a return visit.

Great location for walking around central Amsterdam and along the canals. We love the breakfasts at the brasserie. They were very accommodating for international travelers (storing luggage, early check-in, etc). We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you. One point to note, as the hotel is made up of multiple properties, even though there is a lift , most rooms require you to walk up and down some stairs.

Scenic canal view room, tidy and clean, fully renovated washroom, quaint and elegant room decorations and quiet. Beautiful artwork throughout, the hotel staff engagement was excellent since check in and duration of stay.
