Beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff as we got caught in a rainstorm on our last day and we were checked out. The staff was wonderfully amazing to help us get dry changed and on our way to the next city!

Huge room (apartment?), beautiful views with a balcony, tasteful furniture and lovely location. Beyond expectations. Breakfast could be a bit more varied but it is quite good. Lot's of cultural references in the reception and the room. Tasteful.

Perfect location - right in the middle of the action yet tucked away and completely quiet with the windows closed, if desired. Breakfast was lovely and a nice way to start each day. The room was much larger and nicer than expected, and all staff we encountered were very helpful and cheerful. 10/10, no notes.

Amazing staff! Georgia was outstanding at checkin and check out. She’s helping us ship some things home as we are traveling on. Eraldo took great care of us in the bar, great personality, knows his drinks and funny. My favorite hotel in Rome, one of the best in Italy. Nice large rooms, perfect location and quiet surroundings in a loud city.

8/10 Very good

A great choice!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a walkable location. It is close to the Colosseum and Ancient Rome, but our room was very quiet and peaceful. It was clean and modern, with room for our family of 3 to spread out. There was a strange smell at times which is keeping me from 5 stars, but overall a great choice!

This was a beautiful property. It was clean and quiet and located within many historical sites within walking distance. I paid for the breakfast and every morning I had a delicious breakfast with two cooked eggs, bacon, and an assortment of delicious items! I would like to give a big shout out to Leeza who served me a delicious cappuccino every breakfast!! My son and I had a beautiful room with two twin beds and a sitting area! Very safe and quiet!

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was exceptional, and the room was spacious and felt luxurious. Nice breakfast. Big plus is the quite terras where you can unwind, get a quick bite and look out onto the Capitol Hill. The cocktails are outstanding. Location is excellent. 5 min walk from old forum, 10 min from great dinner places at Travestere, you can walk to the city centre/shopping areas. For further locations, there go a multitude of buses within a 5 min walk. Metro is 10 min walk. You can check into bus/metro with a debit card.

Palazzo Velabro was absolutely everything we had hoped and more. Situated in a beautiful and quiet area it is modest on the outside and luxurious on the inside. The property itself was great, the rooms were spacious, the restaurant and bar were accessible and continuously well kept, and the cinema was a lovely touch with full control over air conditioning and volume. The only minor note is that though the hotel is accessible through the bar and has elevators available, addition of a small ramp to assist with the step up into the restaurant would greatly improve accessibility for wheelchair users. It was the perfect hotel for our honeymoon, and the service and staff were absolutely incredible too.
