This accomodation couldn’t be anymore convenient. From the daily breakfast(gluten free options) which was great.Hotel Gioia was in an amazing location. In the heart of Florence. Easy walk to restaurants, transportation to the local landmarks and attractions. We didn’t need to use any public transport till we left Florence. Clean and tidy and the staff are super friendly. One of our best stays while travelling in Europe. Thank you for the wonderful memories our family have made in this beautiful city. Would love to come back and stay here again.

I don't know which standard/law has let this place be called a Hotel!?!? The building and rooms were in a horrible condition that my kids were even scared. Staff were rude. The room provided was not similar to a real room, just a left over area that they put couple of mattress to call it room for 4 people! Fortunately they changed our room for the 2nd night after our complain. Except the location, I can't thing of a single positive thing about this place.

Comfortable hotel and good location

Overall a good hotel and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice. The location is good as it is close to Florence Dome and other tourist attractions. A minor downside is navigating through the corridors to reach your room when you have luggage. There are multiple stairs that you have to take where the elevator doesn’t go so it makes it challenging But overall a good hotel
