The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was clean and spacious. The staff was helpful by giving good directions and offering to keep my luggage if I wanted to explore the city after I checked out. I would stay here again.

The location is perfect... super close to the train / metro station and yet it was nice and quiet. the toom was small, but had everything we needed. comfortable beds, clean and the a/c was good enough. Older property, but we had excellent stay. All staff were helpful, but Alex definitely stands out. Thank you for having us! We will be back!

This is a delightful gem. A welcoming, family-run feeling pervades. Alex, front of house and ever-present is the kindest, most professional and thoughtful member of staff of any hotel I have stayed at in many a year. He is a stand-out legend. Hotel Igea is super-convenient for the main railway station, and walkable to Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Vatican and really anywhere the most avid culture-hound would wish to visit. It's very close to the Termini station yet also a walkable distance to the major attractions in the city center. I was on the top floor it was very quiet. The AC could have been better but with the window open and they had a fan for me to borrow it was nice.

Value for money. Reasonable all round. Not very enthusiastic at reception, however, I have no complaints. Generally Italian hosts i have found to be excitable. Not so here. Breakfast was adequate and pleasant. Far enough from Railway station to escape unsavoury characters of which there are few in the neighbouring streets. A base not a holiday hotel.

Elevator only stops at landings between guest room levels. You need to carry your bags and walk up and down. Noise from the people on the street. Close to Termini station and eateries. Overprice for a budget, basic and outdated guest house. Breakfast included.

This hotel met all my expectations. The rooms are simply furnished, comfortable and very clean, with their own little bathrooms. The elevator works well. The television offers at least one channel in English - CNN, I didn't check for any others. The staff are pleasant and helpful. A very generous breakfast is provided from 7:30 to 10:00 . The location is convenient for getting around, central, near (but not too near) Termini Station. Lots of places to eat nearby. I would definitely stay again if I were visiting Rome.

Please set your expectations before booking. This hotel was clean and comfortable but basic. The furnishings were dated but functional and room was slightly dusty. The location is a 10 minute walk from Roma Termini station. Breakfast is provided but we left too early to take advantage of it. Be aware that the small elevator splits floors. You will still need to walk up or down a flight of stairs to get to your room. Overall, the accommodations were good. It was affordable for the central location and access to public transportation. The hotel is not fancy so make sure it meets your travel needs and lifestyle.
