The property itself was very well maintained. It was clean and the A/C was cold. Unfortunately once you left the hotel it was slightly less appealing. Graffiti everywhere, homeless people laying on the sidewalks, and not a whole lot in close proximity. We ended up taking taxis/ubers everywhere which basically wiped out any savings versus staying in the more “touristy” part of Rome.

Delightful Boutique Hotel group (walkable and safe) with several other sister-options throughout the city. I had a delicious meal at Masa, a restaurant in their other hotel called The Major with a rooftop view of the Basilica. Everyone was so helpful and the food at the Cross Hotel was simple but fresh, delicious and affordable. I didn't do the breakfast buffet option but it looked good and again, very reasonable at 10E. Impeccable service and cleanliness. I would stay there again, when in Rome. ;)

The hotel is in a great location. Right on the river with a classic view of the Tower Bridge. The staff from Checkin to Checkout was amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were happy with the cleanliness of the room, the reception were welcoming upon arrival and the person who showed us the room was very professional. The thing we were not happy about was the check out in the early morning on 4th of April was not professional, we asked for water, and they refused to give us, and also the front front gates were locked and we had to ask the receptionist to open them..

This hotel is contemporary and spotlessly clean everywhere. The reception staff and the porter that showed me to my room were friendly and professional. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the quality of the food. My room was small as I expected but clean and tidy with a good shower pressure and shampoo and soap. The Aircon worked well and there were enough hangers in the closet. Although near the road after around 10pm I didn't hear any traffic noise at all. There is always room for improvement and a kettle and tea and coffee would be nice but was lacking. My only mild complaint is that I purposely booked a double room as I like to sleep on a double or king-size bed. However the bed was two single mattresses pushed together with a double sheet over them. This did impact my sleep somewhat but everything else was good so didn't take a star off. But it does need sorting as it is something you only usually see at seaside holiday hotels these days. All in all a good hotel and not too expensive for Rome with a good price/quality ratio.
