The hotel and amenities were fantastic. Location was great. Rooms need to be more upgraded with smart TVs and phone plugs. Housekeeping staff were all fantastic and above and beyond. Solid Hotel, Though Renovation Is Needed

The breakfast voucher worked out well, but the staff at Maxine’s was disappointing. On my last day, the manager refused to let me have breakfast because I was 10 minutes late, and she was rude about it. I first stayed at the Riviera in 2016, and it was nice to come back. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and most of the staff are friendly. However, two things stood out this time: the elevator to the rooftop wasn’t working when I tried to use it, and when I got to the rooftop pool, the water looked a bit dirty and there was no one around. Overall, my impression from 2016 until now is that the hotel remains a solid option, but it could benefit from some renovation.
