The location is excellent. If you have any accessibility issues at all, this is not the place for you. We had the basement room which was nice and cool in the summer heat. The room wasnt very clean and neither was the bedding.

Old building with the expected small room, no elevator, and no AC. They provide a plug-in fan which was enough since it didn't get too hot. They spend about 5 minutes cleaning the room each day (vacuum, make beds, and change towels) so the toilets don't get much attention. From a fire safety standpoint, be aware it wouldn't pass muster in the US due to the very steep stairs and the habit of leaving stacks of laundry in the narrow halls overnight . Bed was comfortable.

Don't be fooled by the pictures advertising this hotel. We booked for 4 nights but left after two. Dirty, incredibly small, tiny beds, toilet so small as to be unusable. Room smelled of damp, hardly surprising given the shower door leaks all over the floor. Good location and staff were helpful. No tea or coffee making facilities within the room, just communal ones in the reception area. Sadly a waste of money on an epic scale.

Time for an update

The room was dirty and mattresses were full of fabric peel you could feel through the sheets. One of the mattress covers was yellow stained from whatever. The fans didn’t work neither did the bathroom mirror light. The location was great but rooms need uptating.

The location is excellent and made exploring the area incredibly convenient. However, guests should be aware that the property features a very steep staircase, which might be challenging if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. We did find a bug inside during our stay, though I want to clarify that it was definitely not bedbugs—just an isolated stray insect. It is a wonderful spot if you don't mind a little bit of climbing! Vincent was very helpful, and the gentleman working at night was equally accommodating and polite.
