Stayed over for business, parking is near hotel (£10.50) and a very short walk. WiFi was good & rooms are fairly dated due to the age of the hotel but they have done a good job making clean and looked to be the best of the row of hotels in the area. Would stay again if I was in the area. Couple that run it were lovely and very helpful!

Perfect location for a short stay. Close to theatre if going to an event at the pier or white Rock theatre. Room very clean. Plugs on both sides of bed, tea and coffee well stocked and lots of hangers. Bed could do with a mattress topper though!

While working in Hastings I needed to find accommodation for 1 final night & I found Alexander’s hotel on Carlisle Parade on the website & booked my stay through Hotels.com. Upon arrival I was greeted by the owners Keith, Wendy & Misty the very clever owners dog. After explaining why I chose their hotel apart from the cost etc they immediately upgraded my stay to a double room facing the seafront which was perfect with an ensuite power shower a large comfortable bed which gave me a great night’s sleep. I work in Hastings a few months of the year & would certainly recommend staying at Alexander’s hotel if you want value for money & a convenient base to explore all that it has to offer.

Clean room and looked like the bathroom had been refurbished recently. Comfortable bed and Hotel was affordable in a great location. Breakfast consisted of juice and coffee/tea, cereals and a nice full English which sets you up for the day. I Would definitely stay here again if I return to Hastings.

Quiet Solo Summer Trip

Really central hotel to the halfway point between Hastings and Saint Leonard’s, very walkable and safe. Beautiful view of the beach and rooms were very comfortable front desk and housekeeping very accommodating.

An elderly property essentially on the esplanade. Of course that means no lift making it inaccessible for some. On the other hand the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was good and the price was incredibly low. This might have been because I visited "off season" but it was certainly about half the cost of any other lodging I used during a two-week trip across the south coast. I'd definitely go back again.
