We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Resort with a beautiful view of the boardwalk and ocean from our balcony…we even saw dolphins swimming around. The staff were very accommodating and professional, and the property was well kept up. I loved that we could walk to so many places, like restaurants, gift shops, museums, fishing pier, and more. This is a place I look forward to going back to.

We have stayed here at least 5 times over the past 2 years. It could use some updating but it looks like they are trying. Maybe a little bit at a time. Our room has always been clean and the kids love the indoor pool. Elevators were a little slow this time but they did have a full house. This kid our go to for a great room at a great price. We definitely will be back, hopefully soon 🙂

Ocean Resort was in a great location to enjoy Virginia Beach and the surrounding attractions. We loved our fourth floor view of the beach from the balcony. Our room was comfortable and clean. The soap and shower dispensers were nice. The coffee was available in our room as well as in the lobby. The elevator was efficient and the free parking was great. We would have liked working ice dispensers and an updated pool area.

The room was perfect in terms of cleanliness and size, and as described, it has a microwave, tv, and a mini-fridge and all were working perfectly. The wi-fi isn’t working. I like the location of the hotel because it’s close to all the shops and restaurants we visit. We enjoyed every minute while sitting in the balcony observing the ocean, beach traffic, and the sun rise. The only thing I would point out is to make sure the sink and shower drains are clean and not clogged before a new customer arrives. I had to call the front desk because the sink and shower tub were kind of clogged and the maintenance staff responded quickly and fixed the issue.
