A great stay

We had an amazing stay in the cosy hotel. Great location for the lifts to access most of Alpe d'Huez (Alpe/Huez express). Short walk to amenities, shops etc. Pool table and swimming pool great for entertainment.

Clean - Modern & Friendly

Very good, Clean apartment and comfortable bed. TV was smaller than pictured but ok. Good location - About 2 minute walk to Gondala (uphill!) All round very pleased.

Good value for money. I do feel that basic cleaning products, hand wash, etc, should be provided. Cleanliness not the best. A bit dusty. Drain in shower was blocked. Bad smell. I had to clean the drain which was filthy and full of hair. Informed reception. Very quick to sort it out however as someone came up quickly to take a look. Unfortunately the smell returned within 2 days. So if you concentrate on this in future, I would not fault it. Despite being huge and full of guests, it was also quiet. Great location. Easy access to slope. Good WiFi. We had a great holiday. Thank you.

A lovely hotel that was tastefully decorated. The beds were comfy and the hotel put us right next to our friends we were travelling with. The pool was very nice and it was a bonus that the sauna and steam room were free. The Intersport ski hire was just at the side of the hotel so a very easy experience. We had to pay 90 Euros for the underground parking which was a little steep. The ski lockers were small so would only fit our skis, no way my snowboard was going to fit it. A short walk up the hill to the Alpe Express each morning but not too much of an inconvenience. Overall a fabulous stay.

Perfect location easy to get to the ski lifts, restaurants etc. The apartment itself was not very clean, and extremely small for the 6 people we were told we could book for. There was no door between the lounge where the sofa bed was situated and the rest of the apartment. Staff were great getting us items requested, but was a bit annoying at the amount of things we needed to request, we had no cutlery, glasses and other simple things you’d expect in an apartment.

The room was clean; however, unfortunately the towels provided were not sufficient and the fridge did not work. Maintenance came to check the fridge, but it still didn’t work afterward. There is a coffee machine that can be used to heat water, but you need to buy dishwasher capsules and dishwashing detergent yourself. Only two towels per person are provided, and if you stay for one week, you need to wash the towels yourself. Washing costs and drying an additional ! I would like to say a big thank you to the Infant Club, especially Chloe — they are doing a great job. The pool did not work for four days. The water was very cold most of the time, and only twice was it warm. You also need slippers, as these are not provided. The beauty salon is very expensive! The reception staff give instructions, but they are not very clear, and you still need to ask many additional questions.

Good location, friendly staff

We stayed in a two-bedroom (we are a family of 4) apartment for a week. Having read some of the older reviews online I think the hotel have worked hard to make improvements. We stayed in a busy week and found the staff helpful and friendly when we had questions. The apartment had two bedrooms (one is a small room with bunkbeds) and a fairly decent lounge/kitchen space. It is billed as a 6 person apartment but that would mean two people sleeping on the sofa bed which then limits the communal space). It is easy to access the main ski lifts at Bergers with a short walk to the cable car behind the hotel (otherwise it is maybe a 10 -15 minute walk to Bergers). Other reviews have mentioned that the walk is a bit steep and it's not so easy to walk up if the snow becomes icy but you can ski back in from the cable car. Pool is nice but gets a bit busy in the evening. We found the parking easy enough (Euro 90 per week when we stayed) but the exit is a bit tight for a bigger car. Cooking facilities are hob and microwave (no oven which is not unusual but worth knowing if you are planning on self-catering).

It’s definitely not 5 stars… it was dirty in corners of the apartment and no soap was provided to wash your hands with. Blanket was dirty too and too many kids from other apartments screaming. One roll of toilet paper was provided for 4 days and you had to pay for more. No housekeeping. It’s not about the cost of the items just the lack of service I didn’t appreciate. The girl at check in was LOVELY but I wouldn’t stay here again. Maybe good for families.

Habitués de ce genre de structure pour les vacances estivales, cette résidence est facile d’accès et bénéficie d’un parking facilement accessible. Logement propre, avec une acoustique qui, en fonction des gens que vous avez au dessus, laisse perplexe… Personnel à l’écoute qui a rapidement réglé 2/3 petits soucis. Une fois de plus, je me pose la question de l’attribution des chambres/appartements si la resa est effectuée via Hôtels.com ou en direct avec l’hôtelier. Nous étions au 1er étage vue sur cour intérieure rien d’exceptionnel. Pour finir, je ne vois pas en quoi cette résidence a 5 étoiles.
