A great stay

We had an amazing stay in the cosy hotel. Great location for the lifts to access most of Alpe d'Huez (Alpe/Huez express). Short walk to amenities, shops etc. Pool table and swimming pool great for entertainment.

Perfect location easy to get to the ski lifts, restaurants etc. The apartment itself was not very clean, and extremely small for the 6 people we were told we could book for. There was no door between the lounge where the sofa bed was situated and the rest of the apartment. Staff were great getting us items requested, but was a bit annoying at the amount of things we needed to request, we had no cutlery, glasses and other simple things you’d expect in an apartment.

A lovely hotel that was tastefully decorated. The beds were comfy and the hotel put us right next to our friends we were travelling with. The pool was very nice and it was a bonus that the sauna and steam room were free. The Intersport ski hire was just at the side of the hotel so a very easy experience. We had to pay 90 Euros for the underground parking which was a little steep. The ski lockers were small so would only fit our skis, no way my snowboard was going to fit it. A short walk up the hill to the Alpe Express each morning but not too much of an inconvenience. Overall a fabulous stay.

Good location, friendly staff

We stayed in a two-bedroom (we are a family of 4) apartment for a week. Having read some of the older reviews online I think the hotel have worked hard to make improvements. We stayed in a busy week and found the staff helpful and friendly when we had questions. The apartment had two bedrooms (one is a small room with bunkbeds) and a fairly decent lounge/kitchen space. It is billed as a 6 person apartment but that would mean two people sleeping on the sofa bed which then limits the communal space). It is easy to access the main ski lifts at Bergers with a short walk to the cable car behind the hotel (otherwise it is maybe a 10 -15 minute walk to Bergers). Other reviews have mentioned that the walk is a bit steep and it's not so easy to walk up if the snow becomes icy but you can ski back in from the cable car. Pool is nice but gets a bit busy in the evening. We found the parking easy enough (Euro 90 per week when we stayed) but the exit is a bit tight for a bigger car. Cooking facilities are hob and microwave (no oven which is not unusual but worth knowing if you are planning on self-catering).

SĂ©jour agrĂ©able malgrĂ© plusieurs dĂ©convenues : - l’appartement louĂ© donnait sur un immeuble en travaux, ce qui gĂąchait complĂštement la vue. Bien sĂ»r ce n’était pas indiquĂ© lors de la resta - pas de savon, ni de gel douche, ni de pastille lave vaisselle ou de cafĂ© (malgrĂ© une machine prĂ©sente). SollicitĂ©e, la rĂ©ception m’a rĂ©pondu « vous ĂȘtes totalement autonome donc c’est Ă  vous de gĂ©rer ». Vu le prix de la nuitĂ©e c’est assez grotesque et surtout non annoncĂ© - on m’a demandĂ© de faire un mĂ©nage Ă  mon dĂ©part >>> Pardon ? Pour rappel le mĂ©nage est compris dans le prix
 Pour le reste les points positifs : - confort de la literie - calme de l’hĂŽtel - propretĂ© impeccable - tout le nĂ©cessaire pour cuisinier - mobilier Ă©lĂ©gant et appartement spacieux - la piscine est un vrai plus !
