The hotel was attractive and the price seemed reasonable, until of course learned about the tacked on 30 dollars per night to park outside, in front of the hotel. I guess that's on me for not looking closely on the website...
The real problem was the ridiculous noise level, making sleep nearly impossible. I notice a complimentary set of ear plugs in the room and wondered who does that and why, until i got settled in the room. Noise began in the early evening coming through the ceiling,, walls, everything. I could hear every conversation and it sounded like they were playing a game of soccer on the ceiling. I had booked two nights and thought it might be just that night, but the second night was the same. I guess the moral is, don't be fooled by the trendy vibe and if you are "gifted" a set of earplugs, head for the door. When I brought this to their attention I was pretty much told to take it up with hotels, com, which seemed like a pretty stupid response to me. More importantly I wanted to make others aware, especially if a decent night's sleep is important to you!
