Formerly a Motel 6, the turnover into this Days Inn is well done. The 'doggie condo' area is great, especially tje quad feature that provides a shady enclosure for your furry friend. Clean and quiet, will stay again!

Staff was very friendly. Property had free coffee and hot chocolate, free ice machine (even bags if requested), and convenient location to Tonto Creek for fishing. They had a pool, cornhole (bring bags), large chess game outside, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, a checkers game board inside and many other board games. The restaurant on premise is convenient. There is a private back door (for the smaller rooms without kitchens) that leads to either the parking lot or the creek depending on which side you are staying.

It’s a motel, not a hotel. Next to the main road, noisy. Clean overall which was good. Tub wouldn’t drain, had to bathe while standing in my own filth. Not ideal. Room was smaller than expected with an outdated air conditioner that couldn’t be used at night due to the huge noise it makes and its proximity to one of the beds which made it useless. At least the beds were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. I’d probably spend the extra money next time and book a hotel instead of an old roadside motel.

The room was clean, shelves, sink and toilet and shower. The floor was ok but needed to be mopped. Wore socks in room and they got dirty. All amenities worked well However toiletries were scare. Conditioner bottle empty, no Kleenex in room, no cups for drinking. Towels were thin and old. They could upgrade to better towels. Grounds were clean and very dog friendly. Ok for someone who brings all their own toiletries, and if not wanting better quality. Ok for the price.

The Days Inn Payson provides good bang for your buck. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great, the lighting was excellent and by far the most charging ports in a hotel room. Customer service was friendly and it's a great walkable location. We did not do the free breakfast, try the Pinon cafe right next door, it was delicious. Our only gripe was the lack of tissues in the room. Thought they just forgot to restock the room, but when we went to the front desk to get a box, they advised they do not provide tissues to guest. I was a little shocked as this was the first hotel I ever stayed in that did not provide tissues. I understand cost cutting, but no tissues, really?! Of course, TP works too, and it would not deter us from staying here again.

Small town- at first I felt like it would Be a bad idea judging by the cover which wasn’t terrible but I’m not a fan of hotels with the door outside. This one changed my mind. The building that we stayed in was behind the office. Our room was updated and clean. The shower was great per my children LOL The staff was kind. The breakfast gave a few options. The little dining area was nice. Overall good stay for us. No pool yet but cute little courtyard area.

I was on the first floor and the people on the second floor were loudly stomping around from 9 pm till about 11:45pm and then started again at 6 am. Probably not entirely their fault, the building most likely was built poorly with little insulation. Also my back and neck seriously hurt and I should have just slept on the floor the beds were so uncomfortable. I probably would have gotten better sleep in my car. My allergies were really bad in that room and I had to ask for a tissue box, that was tougher than the toilet paper Not a great start of a road trip up to Oregon.
