Extremely Unsanitary, Misrepresented Room — Unsafe Conditions
I booked this property based on the description and amenities listed, but the room I received (Room 111) was nowhere close to what was advertised. The room was filthy upon arrival — dirt behind the bed, in the kitchen area, and in the bathroom — and I even found a roach on the kitchen counter the next morning.
The “kitchenette” is completely unusable. It came with only one scratched, rusty pan, and although the manager later brought a second pan, the entire kitchen area runs off a large contractor-style extension cord, meaning the stove, coffee maker, and toaster oven cannot be used at the same time. The dishes and cabinets were dirty, and there was no dining table, even though it was listed in the amenities. The room also advertised a rain shower head, which was not present.
The air conditioning had no remote, so it could not be turned off, and the coffee maker didn’t work until the manager replaced it.
Before arriving, I called the property to confirm there would be cookware and a working coffee maker, and I was told yes — but none of these items were initially provided. When I asked if I could switch rooms, the manager refused and told me I “did not pay enough,” even though my room cost over $70 before applying my Hotels.com credits.
Check-in was another issue. I never received an email with instructions. I was told I could check in before 3 PM, but the room wasn’t ready, and the manager was nowhere
