Our stay was perfect for what we needed. I will say the only thing the global luxury suites needs to do is update their appliances using super glue to hold together pots and pans is not a good idea when you’re cooking. All I can say is update your kitchen supplies.

Good location with plenty of space

The building was nice and the apartment was perfectly spacious for our family of five. It was very convenient to Union Station and a reasonable walk to the main mall. We had a little trouble finding it at first. The hotel had emailed detailed instructions which are necessary and they had gotten lost in my inbox. The couple of blocks around the building had food, drinks, groceries, drugstore and drinks.

Granted we got there early, but at 400 pm check in time, our room wasn’t ready until like 440pm. And it’s not a typical check in you have to find there office in this building, that’s actually a condominium place that the company has a certain amount of rooms in the building that they rent out, things aren’t labeled the best. The representative that was onsite told us where the office was instead of stopping to talk to us, the lady in the office just called him. Ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend this place

Comfortably Modern, with Room for Improvement

our stay at Global Luxury Suites at Capitol Hill was generally pleasant and the property itself is clean, comfortable, and well-located. The apartment was well-equipped and met our expectations in terms of space and amenities. However, there were a couple of issues that affected our experience. First, the door access app took over two hours to set up and required assistance from the property manager, which was inconvenient after a long trip. Also, at one point, we and three other guests got stuck at parking level 2 because there was no cellphone signal, and the touchpad for manual code entry was broken—it didn’t pause long enough to let anyone enter an access code manually. Another important note: the Metro runs very close to the building and is quite loud. Light sleepers might find it disruptive, especially early in the morning. Overall, it’s a good place to stay with great potential, but a few technical improvements could make a big difference.

It was just okay. For the price and clodeness to Howard it was fine, but the parking situation is not good and costly. The room was spacious but the beds were not comfortable and had to request bedding as it was missing. The codes were a problem too. Even the workers had trouble with the codes for entry.

This place was excellent. New, modern condo type apartment. Two separate bedrooms, which made it nice for privacy comfortable bedrooms with a queen and a pullout couch. Front desk staff was very helpful. excellent workout facilities, and they also had a great social room, with pool tables, etc. You do need to make sure you read the emails to check in, and the only downside I would say is if you need anything after hours it might be hard to get help. For example, we needed some extra sheets for the pull out bed and didn’t get them till the next day. That said, otherwise it was excellent. Also, a great restaurant right outside the facility. Overall, I would stay here again.
