This was a lovely locally run independant hotel. Our room was large with a balcony, there is a nice pool and great views. The only caveat would be that in my opinion you need a car. On a map the hotel isn't far from anything Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Napoli. The trains run frequently and are cheap, (about 3 euro or less per person per journey). The hotel is only 1 mile from the nearest station. However, it's not a nice walk up streets that are not all paved or lit and motorbikes in particular drive fast. The hotel does offer a free shuttle but it has to be pre booked which means you have to know always in advance where you are going and when you will be back. Taxi's are few and far between and are expensive (30+Euro for just a few miles, if you can find one). It didn't work for us and we ended up booking a hotel for 1 night in Sorrento so we could stay late and have a meal and a drink without watching the clock. If you plan to have a hire car or to drive I recommend this place otherwise if you want to explore the area I recommend Napoli or Sorrento

Great hotel

Comfortable hotel with great views of Mount Vesuvius. Friendly and very helpful staff, and a nice breakfast. Owner always seemed to be around making sure everything ran smoothly, which it certainly seemed to. Fairly upmarket restaurant which our kids didn't fancy, but there was a great pizza place a few minutes walk away.

Great stay outside of Pompeii! The staff is very friendly and let us park and leave our car to avoid the traffic around Pompeii region, the area is very quiet, and the restaurant downstairs is very good! The included breakfast was good, and the views overlooking Vesuvius and the bay are beautiful! The rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable, would definitely stay again!

Very helpful and curteous staff, ample parking and very good facilities - swimming pool, sunbeds etc. Great location for both Pompei and Vesuvius, 25 min from naples airport and 50 min from Sorrento. Amazing views of Naples and Mt Vesuvius.
