Stayed one night on a holiday weekend when this was the cheapest motel in Niagara Falls, so I wasn't expecting the Waldorf. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Be aware the $10 parking is really closer to $12 with taxes. While the room was quiet and provided a decent night's sleep, it is in dire need of maintenance and improvements. The window curtains weren't as wide as the window, so I had to change in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was ripped off the wall, so you're given a roll of paper sitting on the top of the toilet tank. The cold water knob in the shower didn't work properly, so the shower was extremely hot, which presumably was the cause of the smoke detector in the room going off at 6:40 am for a short while (sorry fellow guests). The bed was comfortable but the mattress squeaked on every movement. Furnishings were adequate, with the quality and condition you'd expect for a budget motel. I would stay here again if comparable motels aren't available (like this weekend) with the hope that other rooms are in better condition.

To reach the room on the second floor, you have to use an old, rusty metal staircase. Two foul-smelling trash cans stand next to the stairs. The veranda in front of the rooms was very dirty; overflowing ashtrays were lying around, and the floor was covered with old, worn-out carpets. The beds were clean and fine, but the room and bathroom hadn't been repainted in a long time—the same goes for the furniture. The bottom of the bathtub was very worn. You have to pay an extra $10 for parking. There was no coffee or ice machine available. At least the refrigerator worked.
