The staff were fantastic and lovely, even with the language barrier. The suites with private pools are not private in any way. They state that they speak English and Turkish, unfortunately that wasn’t the case for our two nights. Maybe it’s because it’s not high tourist season, but probably best not or advertise that if is not the case. Overall its concept is great but just doesn’t quite hit it, which is a little disappointing considering the cost of the suites.

Excellent food but poor room maintenance

The restaurant was superb. The view and room appointments were very good. The maintenance of the room was very poor. The toilet door opened spontaneously; the door to the deck was very difficult to open (lubrication of its rollers was needed); the shower heads were not clean so very little water came out and it went in all directions except downwards; the door to the shower enclosure came off its rollers and it was necessary to call maintenance personnel to replace it. These simple failures reduced our enjoyment of the room. As a result, despite the excellent food, I would not recommend this hotel.
