Second stay here had a room in the lodge four years ago, it was great. Had a cabin this time and it was great. This is my go to stop now for South Central Oregon. Everything is top flight. It’s a historic property beautifully maintained. They do an excellent appetizer/happy hour that shouldn’t be missed, offering good local craft beers and wine at reasonable prices. Breakfast is also well served.

What a beautiful, restful place, and such a picturesque setting for a quaint and charming lodge. It felt like a step back into a quieter time. We arrived pretty late, so missed out on the afternoon amenities, but there were still chocolate chip cookies waiting for us in the dining room. Even though we had a room on the front (the highway) and facing the parking lot, it was quiet and the view was pretty with all the trees. It was very clean, and we slept well. Breakfast was fabulous (and huge - we didn't eat the rest of the day!). I'm gluten free, and there was plenty of yummy homemade food to eat. The coffee from Rogue Roasters was so good! A morning walk through the woods down to the river was the perfect start to a day of driving to our destination. The staff was super helpful, filling up bags of ice for our cooler, and sharing stories about the inn. We already made reservations for the way back home.
