Loved the hotel, surrounded by beautiful rose bushes! Stayed in room 341 with gorgeous lake view. Breakfast was great. The only thing is that's about a 20 minute walk to Stresa, however, the walk is beautiful along the lake. Highly recommend.

This hotel is really worn down. We were a bit disappointed with the state of the hotel and especially the rooms needed renovation. The squeaky floors from the neighbors woke us up in the morning and the refrigerator was also really noisy. We could hear everything that was going on in the hallway and the rooms next door. The atmosphere was 1970’s, in a cool way, but things were just a little too worn. Location was really good and the pool area was nice.

The hotel is located on the edge of Stresa and near one of the ferry terminals. It would suit those who don't mind a 30 min walk in to the town centre. Our room was reasonably large but the bathroom was a bit odd with the shower head located in the middle of the wall making it difficult to use. We also had a strange experience intermittently with the sound of water rising down pipes, presumably when the toilets above were flushed. The staff were professional and helpful and breakfast is a throwback to yesteryear in a large, bright dining room. All in all the stay was a 5/10 and I'd suggest is Ok for 2 or 3 nights.
