Great stay! The hotel is in a perfect location, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early, which made our trip much more enjoyable after a long journey. The only minor issue was that the bathroom blind couldn’t close properly, which affected privacy a little. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Nice historic place. The staff will help you with where to park parking in the area cost about $25 a day. You will find the front door to the facility is extremely hard to open the tension on the door needs to be adjusted. you have to put a lot of pressure on it and then there’s another door inside of that where the keypad is. The breakfast was very good although the breakfast room is very small and crowded with other guest. The stairs are very steep. It’s an old historic place and there’s nothing can be done about that. The room was quite small, but very nicely done. The biggest issue that I and the other guest had was the Internet was extremely spotty and many times it didn’t work at all. This also meant that the TV did not stream because the Internet was not working. It’s a nice place. It’s not a modern hotel and I get that so we enjoyed ourselves, but it’s good to know that if stairs are an issue and you need space this probably is not the place for you..

This is a unique property in a very convenient location. We really enjoyed our experience as we appreciate non traditional venues. The proprietor was very nice and even allowed us to access our room earlier than check in since it was available. The stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow, so a traveler with physical limitations would need to stay on the first floor.

Breakfast and location were fabulous. Bed in the Moon Room was not comfortable and the room was not well ventilated. We were expecting a kitchen we could use as the one photo's caption read "Standard Room | Shared kitchen | Mini-fridge, shared microwave, cleaning supplies" We had no access to a microwave nor the kitchen. When we messaged the property owner via both their phone number and the Hotels.com app about this, we go no response. We also never rec'd information on check out procedures. Other guests reported the same communication issues that we had. The staff member who prepared breakfast each day was nice, helpful, and accommodating.
