The Westin is a wonderful hotel in Avon. The parking is expensive. The heated pool is outside but it was raining while we were there so I didn’t get to try it out.

Great winer getaway location, please also be aware that although it is dog friendly, they charge an additional $150 (which is not mentioned during the order process although its noted and approved for a dog friendly room) also additional property tax is charged upon arrival as well. Ended up paying $200 more than what we booked for just one night of stay.

Unfortunately we checked in late waited 15 mins as the woman at front desk who was a trainee opted to play with a baby rather than help the next guest. No sense of urgency and she was kinda rude couldn’t answer questions regarding room location etc…

The property location is great with beautiful surroundings and is located close to Nottingham Lake. Room Service is not good. They tell you to use an app, but the app doesn’t work. Housekeeping doesn’t refresh amenities like in-room coffee supplies or toiletries. The rooms are very small and don’t even have a desk chair or any other chair so you have to sit on the bed or floor. The hot water in the showers was sporadic at best.

Loud crazy kids everywhere and drunk Moms

Our stay was ok. For this type of hotel, there should be designated kid floors and rules about kids for tournaments being able to run around the hotel freely without adult supervision. There were a couple of tournaments and my husband and I along with another couple went up to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, only to have kids running around everywhere with no rules to follow and the Mo.s getting plowed in the hotel lobby. We didnt pay over $300 a night to get no sleep or relaxation. Very disappointing

The property was clean and was in close proximity to beaver creek. To get to the ski area you need to take a bus. The gondola only goes to the landing and then you have to hop on the bus. The property was nice looking, the main issue we had was the staff. Before we arrived I received a notification that our room was ready. However, when we finally got to to the front desk a couple hours later, they indicated that that was not true and "they don't know why I was sent that" in a rather rude way. After waiting for another hour we finally received out room. Another issue we had, is that the restaurant by the bar had under cooked some pasta and overcooked our children's burgers. They were overcooked to the point of beef jerky. We decided to check out a day earlier and go to another hotel, usually most hotels that care would ask why we're leaving early. These folks did not. I personally would probably find a resort closer to beaver creek ski resort next time. I'm unsure if all the resorts have similar staff issues but I definitely felt like I paid too much for the service I received.

We've been coming to this property since it opened, and we really like it here. We try to come once a year. The outdoor pool and hot tubs have such beautiful views and are really nice to swim and relax in. The hotel has a modern and relaxed vibe, and overall it's quite clean. The lobby is one we make a point to hang out it because it has fireplaces, great views, a nice cocktail lounge and lots of seating, as well as board games to check out at the front desk. I like that the front desk checks in with you via text throughout your stay. This system has been really good to address any concerns easily. The only real issues we have had, and why I don't give the hotel five stars, is the cleanliness of the rooms have not been as good as they have been in the past. The rooms used to be immaculate, but the last few times there were some issues. Also, the service in the lounge bar wasn't as good as it could have been with a slow server and cocktails that weren't quite right. Finally, the new market just opened a month ago and they have some kinks to work out still. It's extremely expensive and the coffee drinks were poorly made (tasted bad), smoothie ingredients forgotten (got a pbj smoothie with no fruit in it so it just tasted like frozen peanut butter), and a "nitro" cold brew coffee that just kind of fizzled into cold coffee after a few seconds and was $7 for a small. So really poor value there. Other than that, we'll keep coming back because it is almost always a great time.
