This is excellent value for money and a comfortable stay nestled in the country area of kelbrook. It is just off the main road but there didn't seem to be any traffic noise. Ideal for dog owners, allowed in most areas. Restaurant facilities are good too. Will stay again

Our room was a little small, but it had everything we needed and was clean. We have stayed here several times and recommend Stone Trough to anyone travelling in the area. The food is really good and many people just call in to eat. At a weekend they have to give you an allotted time for breakfast, in order to get everyone in! Breakfast and evening meal were excellent and staff are very obliging and friendly

This is a great hotel for a stopover. The room was clean and spacious. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. Staff were welcoming and friendly. However, The towels were hand towel sized rather than bath towels. The radiator didn’t work.

Had great time nice comfy beds super friendly staff and hotel is super dog friendly,had biscuits for our dogs and are allowed everywhere in hotel so very helpful when at breakfast we can have dogs with us. Breakfast was good it help your self buffet with cooked and continental on offer. If your looking for a dog friendly hotel this is definitely 👌 plus if you have a motor home they have bays for you to park in.

Good breakfast and food menu selection. We stayed in a deluxe double. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved sitting on the veranda for our evening meal looking out onto the countryside watching the evening sunset

Rooms were very nice and comfortable, a few places could do with a touch up and the shower curtain could do with a wash to have a fresher smell, other than that the room was perfect. Hotel location was brilliant and the Restaurant was very pleasant with good food and on Fri/Saturday a piano player and singer makes for a lovely atmosphere whilst dining. Breakfast was pretty good too, I would just add a yoghurt option and swap out the tin plum tomatoes for fresh halved tomatoes. Reception staff when we arrived were very pleasant, and Simone who waited on us in the Restaurant was pleasant with a great sense of humour. Overall I would recommend Stone Trough Hotel and give it 8.5/10

Stayed for 2 nights. Good location for Pendle and surrounding area. Good parking. Good for the price, rooms a little tired in places but all acceptable. Very comfy bed and excellent power shower. Clean and tidy hotel. Breakfast average, but good for the price. Overall I would recommend and would stay again. Also note..They offer camper van parking pitches too, with brekkie included. Noted for future reference as we have a campervan.

There was no hot water. The WiFi coverage was poor. Breakfast was ok, I suppose, but nothing special. Had dinner in the restaurant - the food was served dried out and congealed but yet the temperature was warm at best, quite a feat. The room was ok, but nothing special. Tired, a bit tatty in places, and in need of renovation. The mattresses were flat and unsupportive. In defence, they had Hawkstone lager in, which was quite pleasant to drink.

While in the room, it was lovely and quiet, clean and had what everything we needed. We thought the design of the room was a little mis match. The staff were friendly, and welcoming. We had an evening meal, which was absolutely superb! Breakfast didn’t have what I prefer (croissants) however it was very nice. They provide cereal, juice, tea, coffee, beans, tomato, sausage, bacon, fried egg and toast. It’s a little shame they didn’t have scrambled or boiled eggs. Overall, we had a good stay.
