This was a GREAT place to stay! Only downside was there was loud noise from the bar late at night (until 2AM) AND THEN loud noise REALLY early (like 5AM) from construction. So if you’re sensitive to noise, maybe not the place for you. Also a few cleanliness issues (make up on bed sheets and hair found on coffee maker). Otherwise was a great place to stay!

I will definitely stay here again when I come to visit my daughter at GCU. A lot of the areas in Phoenix are a bit sketchy so I was hesitant to stay anywhere but I felt very safe and comfortable here. It’s gated and secure. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean and has all the amenities I need for a good trip.

Parking was a little frustrating with all of the clubs and night life, but the room itself was awesome and the ability to check in and out without having to deal with anyone was nice too. I will absolutely stay here in the future.

great location, walking distance to many places. All recommendations provided by Sonder were great. Theres a 0 minute walk to great tea & coffee shop. The apartament was super clean. The bed to die for. Lots of closet space and drawers. Safe neighborhood!

Sonder in Phoenix!

Everything about our stay was first-class. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage in the lockers, walk around the city, and check in at the proper time. The property was lovely. We made dinner in our room, had drinks and dessert on the rooftop lounge, and experienced the city skyline. We also rode in one of the driverless automobiles. It was a superb vacation!

They need to take better care of the property, it was like staying at a hostel, also they need to leave more coffee, we didn't have enough for the second morning and there is nobody around to ask for anything. The furniture except for the beds was very tired especially for the money we paid.

An interesting building made out of repurposed shipping containers. All is fine, my only complaint is that the air conditioner is not very effective: when cool is on it makes living room very cold when the bedrooms remain kind of warm. Also, it gets a bit loud on Friday and Saturday because of the clubs near the building.

Too Much Noise

Hotel was great....but there are two clubs across the street that go full volume till 1 am and then there was a construction project also across the street so every monrning, including sundays, I was awakened at 4:30 am. Every day. Luckily it was just me but if I had my wife or kids it would have been a disaster. Hotel itself is fantastic and a great price. If you are a light sleeper or need lots of it this probably not the place for you

Loved the physical property and location- stayed five nights. Super cool units and lived the roof deck. Only two issues: 1. It is right next to a 7 day a week nightclub open until 2 am that plays very loud music. 2. The keypad for entry into the property is worn so that it takes at least five tries to get inside. (Keypads at the door to our place was fine; just the main door was a problem.) if you sleep heavily or using a white noise app works for you, we definitely recommend.

Location was great, halfway between the convention center and Hance Park. There’s a nice coffee shop & bakery directly next door. The building is made out of old shipping containers, definitely a unique space. There’s a cool rooftop seating area as well. Sofa bed mattress wasn't great, but having a full kitchen was clutch. A few things felt unfinished, like the TV not being wall-mounted (but plugged in to an outlet higher up on the wall) but nothing major. It’s in a social area and we could hear people outside late at night, but it was also a busy weekend. No on-site parking which was a challenge at times, but there is some free street parking nearby if you’re lucky. Also - Sonder makes you virtually check-in through their own portal so would also recommend getting all of that done before you arrive as there is no front desk

Noisy beyond belief, no parking

Next to dance clubs, loud bass all night along with cars showing off they did not have mufflers but could rev their engines from ten P.M. to two A.M. No parking provided and construction next door...no Wi/Fi, couldn't get it fixed. Bad experience with what looked like a good concept. Clean unit, bird droppings all over elevator entrance, coded entry gate usually unlatched..

Nice property, a couple kinks to work out

Pros: Clean & well-appointed; convenient distance from downtown (.5 mile) plus food and entertainment options; bldg was constructed in part w/repurposed shipping containers (very cool, modern vibe!); customer service is accessible via text. Cons: The property is right next to a night club that plays loud music every night until 2 a.m. Sonder provides a white noise machine in the unit; at about midnight on the first night, I understood why! But the primary con is that there are no on-site staff, which presented 2 problems for me: 1) I arrived a few hours before check-in time, and I'd hoped to store my luggage in one of the 6 provided lockers until check-in time, but they were all in use, so I had to schlep my luggage elsewhere then schlep it back after check-in time. 2) There was an issue with my TV that took 3 days to resolve, and I couldn't use the TV until it was addressed. Part of the problem was that Sonder didn't fully understand the issue I was having and about which I'd been texting them. It only got addressed when someone from the Sonder team happened to be in the bldg when I arrived back at my unit on the last night of my stay, & I asked for his help. I was able to show him the issue with the TV, which he then totally understood and addressed immediately, but it was a little too little, too late, IMO.
