The Splendid Hotel met all our expectations. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were warmly greeted by the friendly front desk staff and provided with a helpful list of recommended restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable, and every staff member we encountered was pleasant, kind, and extremely helpful. The property itself was well maintained and conveniently located near trains, buses, shopping areas, and, best of all, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. All amenities were intact and in good working condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. The location was great and it was a quick walk to great restaurants and the Eiffel Tower. Our room was very small. We had a double bed and there was less than a few feet on either side of the bed (couldn’t even open the window without it bumping into the bed). At the foot of the bed there was a small table and a rack for storage (which needs to be secured to the wall, because it was going to tip over if we put out luggage on it). The bathroom was very run down and had a leaking shower. The vanity was very worn and the particle board was chipping at the front. The shower was very very small (literally 2’ x 2’) and had what looked like a dirty floor (but it turned out to just be very worn). Every time you moved you’d bump the faucet handle and either turn it off, or make it hotter or colder. Not enjoyable. To top it off, breakfast was an upgrade price. For the price we paid (over $500 Canadian dollars), I’d expect a more luxurious experience.

The room was comfortable, and we had a magical view of the Eiffel Tower with a small balcony to sit out on. Only a 22 min. Walk to it as well. It was a great location! The staff from prior to arrival to arrival were very attentive and helpful. The recommended apps to help us with transportation, and other apps to use to get around the city. Thank you! Very unique and classic Paris experience. I would recommend this place!

Great location, staff, room (we each had a room for one person that was one size up from the smallest, so a double room (the bed looks to be the same size as the single room, but the room size is bigger), amenities (especially the Nuxe Reve de Miel bath gel), and breakfast, at a very reasonable price. plenty of bakeries and a couple of shops nearby, 3 metro stops within a 10 minute walk which is great, only issue was the picture shows a view of the eiffel tower (which we weren’t really expecting from our room) but you literally couldn’t see it from anywhere near the hotel and out of our window all you could see was the subway sandwich shop opposite. It didn’t bother us much as we just wanted somewhere to sleep and it was ideal for this! the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. have and would recommend to stay here
