6/10 Good

The location and staff were incredible! Lots of cute touches for Northwestern Homecoming. The room was a little dirty - it needed dusting with cobwebs on the ceiling and walls in several places and the bathroom.

I was warmly greeted by staff. The room was clean and ample. The bathroom vanity was small and a sturdy shelf directly over the sink would have been helpful. Dinner was good.

8/10 Very good

The hotel was really well decorated and has a great vibe- both the restaurant and the bar are super cute! I purchased breakfast to be included and the food was very good. I will say the staff are hit or miss. No one seems to go out of their way to make your stay extra special. My son had to leave early one morning and they wouldn’t honor his breakfast voucher for a to go latte. I never got around to asking why since he was getting way less than the voucher was good for. The gym was really small but had some machines and free weights which was fine for a small boutique hotel. They had instant coffee in the rooms and it seems like having a keurig would be a good investment. Overall, it worked location wise and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Very cool older hotel! Front desk staff were ok, not the most friendly. Restaurant is ok, not the best. Great location - would def stay there again!
