When you pull into the Inn, you would have higher expectations as it has the potential look and feel to be really great. I don't want to be overly harsh, as it seems they are going through a renovation (face lift) to help upgrade the building itself.
The lobby was well done, and classy but the room itself was very outdated. We had trouble getting our door to close properly from the outside of the room. The beds were very worn and in poor condition, needing to be replaced. The hallways were half painted and the floors were not, well anything. They were worn out needing an update also.
The grounds around it could really be cleaned up as well. Not from a trash standpoint, but there was an abandoned golf course next door where that parking lot was now used by RVs and campers (assumedly to generate more income).
Again not to be too critical, as this place has a ton of potential and in a great location for golfers visiting the Pinehurst area. I wouldn't deter anyone from staying here as it was quiet and safe, but for the price it could use more.
