I just spent one night following a wedding. It was after 9pm when I arrived but the girl on reception was very welcoming at the end of the day ! My room was fine but the bathroom cramped and it was quite hot and the window could not be opened more than small distance. Breakfast was fine and again the staff member helpful and friendly.

We were warmly welcomed, however, the room we were allocated smelt strongly of stale cigarettes, although otherwise clean! We were promply offered an alternative room, which was fine. Parking on site was good - you just have to register with reception & put a ticket in the car. Breakfast was good. It was very conveniently situated for the centre of town & an easy walk to the Anvil.The hotel seemed a little dated & some of the fixtures could do with some tlc.

We stayed here for just one night, there was also a wedding on at the same time. However from our room you couldn't hear anything. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was amazing. Will definitely be staying again. I would highly recommend this place
