Everything was exceptional at Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special thanks to Ezgi and Sonia for their outstanding hospitality. Ezgi was especially great; always kind, professional, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Sonia was amazing as well, always attentive, informative, and genuinely caring. We will visit this hotel again.

8/10 Very good

Stayed for 3 nights, had the dinner buffet for all the nights. On the first night some of the Food options were cold and bland, the watermelon started to rot and you can tell some food was leftover from lunch service. However the other 2 night they changed the whole menu with fresher food but some still bland and dry Other than that the hotel pools, beach and facilities were enjoyable for my kids.

4/10 Fair

We stayed here last year and loved it, but this time we were disappointed. The beachside pool was overcrowded, dirty, with broken tiles and sharp metal that injured us. Staff listened but didn’t fix it. The pool was full of day-pass guests, which didn’t suit a family vibe. We also noticed staff being overly strict with female guests. After leaving, the hotel showed no interest in resolving it. On the plus side, the rooms were clean, and the mini-fridge was well stocked. But it feels like the hotel doesn’t know where it fits in Doha’s scene. If it’s for families, it should reduce external guests and add kid-focused activities. It needs to decide its market focus.

Climate system in the room is cooling to 16 °C when it is turned on. Fortunately the room had a good temperature after I turned it on. Great personnel at reception, breakfast and fitness area. Very helpful and well organised.

Overall, we had a great experience at the Rixos. The kids thoroughly loved the stay. However, the check-in process took quite a long time, and the room cleaning could be improved.
