Our room smelled like a sewer due to the bathroom and it’s a sliding glass door so smell was transpiring through, thus making the hotel - not so splendid. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and a really enjoyable start to the day. Our room—with the terrace view—was absolutely stunning and a highlight of the stay. This is a very nice hotel and the staff is very helpful. It’s in a great location, close to everything in Taormina. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good with plenty of food. Do NOT use the ATM near the travel agency down the street, there is a pair of them. HUGE SCAM, they don’t provide receipts and ripped me off by 50 dollars.

The hotel is nothing short of Splendid. A wonderful, new top to bottom renovation makes for a bright, contemporary space. The restaurant is first rate. It is located in a convenient location, 5 minutes from the bus stop and the gates to Corso Umberto. The amphitheatre is a short, scenic 10 minute walk.
