I'll start with the good. This property is immaculately maintained. The landscape is some of the best Ive seen at a resort, and the interior of our room was very well equipped and furnished. I see this as a very upscale property. The customer service was excellent as well, sometimes even overzealous in trying to accomodate. We stayed in a butler suite, and the butler was very, sometimes overly, attentive. Food, beverage and entertainment is where this resort falls very short. I dont know who runs this part of the resort, but you can find much better at other resorts on the island. The all-inclusive option is astronomical at $225 pp/pn USD. For my wife and I, that would have added over $3,000 to our trip. I couldnt fathom spending $450 a day on food and beverage, so we opted to not go that route. The selection of food isnt great aside from breakfast. Theres basically 2 restaurants, and dont even bother with the Asian restaurant. It was well over $100 and we could have got more food in a McDonald's happy meal. Drinks were about $20 each at the bar. This leads to the entertainment, or lack thereof. I will say, they kinda try to provide entertainment, but nobody really shows up to these events, probably because they dont want to pay $200 for drinks while partaking in said entertainment each night. It probably would have been more engaging if more people chose all-inclusive option, but I cant blame them for not opting for it.
