Emanuela was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small. However it was clean. The breakfast was underwhelming. There wasn't much variety. I asked for a ham, cheese, onion and sweet pepper omelet since an omelet was a choice. The waitress requested it from the chef. It was tasteless and watery as a result l was unable to eat it.

From my view, the hotel quality is average by Balkan standards. Positives: + Nice and helpful staff + Great location, close to the beach, with many restaurants nearby, and only 10–15 minutes to the Old Town by bus. Negatives: - Old & noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom! - The breakfast buffet for hotel guests is quite limited, while external visitors seem to get a much better selection directly from kitchen! - All fitted bed sheets were too small for the bed and kept slipping off. - No kettle or coffee machine in the room. - Not easy to find car parking.

The hotel is lovely, in an old fashioned way. The rooms still have keys which can be a bit fiddley to work. The rooms were very clean, a good size, the hotel was quiet. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was a bit sparse for the cost but enough there to fill you up. Close to lots of restaurants, Sunset beach and a nice walking trail. Old town is a short bus ride away.

Hotel Perla is a lovely hotel. Nicely situated in the pedestrian area of Lapad which is a great location to explore. Centrally located. Great balcony with a wonderful view. Friendly staff. Only issue I had was I was on the 4th floor and the lift only went to the 3rd floor. As a female solo traveler I had trouble carrying my luggage up the flight of stairs.
