The hotel has changed ownership, and it feels like they are still not fully organized, even though, as I understand, the change happened a year ago. The hotel is very clean, the breakfasts are decent, and the reception staff is friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant seems to be understaffed, and I would recommend they increase their workforce.

This is a no frills place. It is exactly what we needed a place that is located close to the beach in tel aviv, quiet very clean and good services and excellent breakfast. There is paid parking near by.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I have EVER had and I am an old traveler. Everyone was so kind, helpful, polite and just so special. We added an extra night in Tel Aviv at the last minute and went back to Mendeli Street hotel where we last stayed in 2018. We did so for the breakfast. Because of the changed conditions following the war, the hotel only serves its amazing breakfast on weekends. Instead, ir provides you with a cocker for the Asimi Restaurant overlooking the beach. The 3 minute walk and the breakfast did not disappoint!! The value of the hotel is found in the kindness of the staff, the proximity to the beach and the cleanliness of the rooms. The standard room is small, the bed is great, the shower was excellent and the air conditioner a life-saver. Well worth the stay!! Thanknyou again Mendel!!!

Not so lofty

Two of us stayed in a "loft" room and found it very uncomfortable--very small room with a sink island in the middle, and the "bathroom" was a plexiglassed corner of the room. It was missing small amenities like hooks on which to hang wet towels and bathing suits. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was really good, and the location was terrific.

The loft room has the worst design I ever seen, bath room is part of the room, there is no place for towels, floor (some kind of a carpet) is wet all time (in our first room full of water below the carpet so we had to change rooms. Near to zero flexibility for late check out on Saturday and I’m still waiting for the Orange juice and coffee in the morning breakfast…

I loved this hotel. Situated in a quiet side street but minutes from the beach and from Ben Yehuda street. The room was nice, very comfortable bed and nice firm pillows and a great shower. Very good breakfast Monday to Thursday, then an excellent breakfast on Friday and Saturday when the restaurant was doing a full brunch service. Very friendly staff, very comfortable room. Great location, very close to the beach and to Dizengoff Street.
