Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. A nice refuge after a long day. Staff was amazing. You order breakfast from their set menu and it was delicious and way better than buffet continental breakfast offered by hotel chains. There is parking is on-site. Very nice property. Very clean rooms with period furnishing matching the history of the building. Breakfast was quite good with the exception of the crepes which were too doughy and undercooked for our liking. Unfortunately, neither the TV nor the air conditioner were working so our room was without entertainment and was uncomfortably warm. The street where the property is located is lovely, however, one may wish to exercise caution when walking in the later evening because only two blocks away at Rideau is the area crowded with many people shooting up. Other tan that, is was easy walking distance to many stores and eating establishments.
