Was greeted by Abdul at reception a lovely man I've met many times on my frequent stays at the giftun. He immediately upgraded my room even though I was only staying for 2 nights. I had stayed at the sinbad club for the previous 6 nights after being recommended to go there but didn't like it so I checked out early. I will definitely stay committed to the giftun in future for their great welcoming staff great food excellent facilities and great location.

I read many reviews and was at first hesitant, but I went there and was very pleasantly surprised. The resort is older, but it has a charm to it. The food is good and there are a lot of choices. My junior suite was enormous. When you combine the cost and what you get, this place is a bargain. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

I like the view from my balcony The food was a bit salty and oily. Even rice has oil . I didn't watch the entertainment because a lot of them smokes. Mostly ive noticed this resort Mostly seniors. It's a shame that no women are employed in service. I think it's good that hot water is generated via solar, but unfortunately there was no hot water available in the evening, especially for events. At events such as Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, they showed their very best side. All service staff wore shirts, food was great. In normal operation, unfortunately, spices were dispensed with and food was lukewarm. Drinks were only available in all you can eat sugary ones drinks. The providers for water sports such as diving or massages were the most expensive providers in the whole of Hurghada. For my needs I would not book the hotel again. I would take a hotel with only breakfast, during the day on the day trips there is always lunch and in the evening you can eat well and cheaply in restaurants.
