We arrived late at night for an event the next day and there was a decently long line. The wait wasn't more than 15 minutes, but after having to agree to a deposit charge and only seeing the room AFTER signing in... It was a sight to behold.
As per the attached images, you could imagine our discomfort when getting to the room and, not including the smell in the air, being greeted by a torn/cut comforter, and a pillow with literal brown/red and yellow stains it it. It was also apparent the room hadn't been cleaned, like, at all. I realize the stay wasn't expensive, but you'd expect any place to do basic things like clean a room for its guests.
I didn't speak to the receptionist on our way out, as I waited in the car outside for 15-20 minutes and the line of 5 or 6 people hadn't moved at all. We had to find a place to stay for the night, so I left. Hotels.com was also unable to resolve any kind of refund for me due to the hotels policy, unfortunately, but I was more than willing to eat that cost to comfortably stay elsewhere.
