All around a pleasant stay

Nice hotel,lovely views, rooms nice & modern, air conditioning a plus, decent pool & spotless changing area. Very family oriented hotel so lots of entertainment for kids. Peaceful at night which was a huge plus. The only downside was the shower in our room didn’t drain properly and would fill with water.

Brilliant hotel and handy to Ashbourne and blanchardstown The only fault I found was the swimming pool was quite dirty around the walls and the ladies changing rooms were filthy floors

Great hotel choice for a family. Convenient. And clean. I was literally horrified at the breakfast however. Awful. Literally awful. I was embarrassed for the country of Ireland when I saw the American tourists faces as they thought the same.

Would stay again.

The facilities, food and staff were wonderful. The only down points were our room was cold and the radiator and heating didn’t seem to work when we adjusted the thermostat. Also our details were leaked in a security breach and no apology was offered. I do believe they will have improved their security in response to this so it’s more just an annoyance for those effected than something that new customers need to be concerned about.

Great location to Tayto Park 5 mins away. Plenty of parking. Cinema across the street. Pool needs to be booked and was full when we arrived. Nice bar area and seats to sit outside. Reception staff very nice. Beds weren’t great you could feel the springs. Shower in bedroom didn’t work. Called reception Maintenance didn’t show after we waited an hour. We had to leave. Over all nice hotel great location but definitely lacking the 4* experience.

Nice property and staff . However, there was no air conditioning -and it wasn’t indicated in the original booking- the staff said they haven’t had it in quite a few months so it was a condition that should’ve been disclosed. The hotel staff did bring up a spacer air conditioner and fans, for both rooms , but it really didn’t do the job. I might’ve booked elsewhere if I knew there wasn’t any air, we all perspired during the night. Again, the staff was really lovely and did the best they could.

No what you see in the pictures

Terrible service the rooms smell like stale cigarettes. The pool is less than half the size of the photos the bar staff were rude and not trained to do their jobs. We had to sit in the bar as the restaurant was full even though most of the tables in the restaurant were empty. Weve never stayed in a hotel so badly run and false. Also you a code to leave the property if your driving and no member of staff tell you this as you check out. Way over priced room rate and the food is expensive for what you actually get

My biggest issue is that I had booked 2 double rooms but when I checked in they only had us down (4 people, 2 men and 2 women) for one family room. When I explained to the receptionist that my booking was in fact for 4 rooms, she was unhelpful. It was only when I came down again with evidence of my bookings that she called the manager who somehow managed to find another room. The other issue we had is rowdy antisocial fellow guests (Sat pm & early hours of Sun morning) who woke us up. Apart from that, staff were efficient, polite and helpful, especially in the bar/restuarant.

Lovely hotel.

Rooms are large with very comfortable beds. Fantastic walk in shower. Breakfast was good. Dinner was really good apart from the chips. They were way too salty. I don't understand why some chefs insist on smothering chips in salt. Let the customer help themselves to the salt if they want it. We asked for a little taste of the curry sauce before deciding on whether to order it. We were told we couldn't have it.
