The St. Charles hotel is a good place to stay if you are looking for a great location to stay. It's within walking distance of restaurants and close to places to visit. However the WiFi network does kick out a lot.

Pleasant for a short stay. Excellent location with shops, restaurants and farmers market in walking distance. The Hotel is outdated but very clean and the staff was pleasant.

The place was clean and reasonably priced and perfectly located for a jaunt around Hudson. However one of the lamps in my room wasn’t functional and there was no hair dryer. Small things but noticeable. The details are small but noticeable. But I would stay there again of traveling to Hudson

4/10 Fair

Considering the property has been sold (found out from coffee shop owner ) not surprised. Front desk could not have been more lifeless. Didn’t even know property was sold!! Website claims “charming” if your idea of a homeless person sleeping in front doorway (not used) is charming. Location was great.. No housekeeping. Apparently just for checkout. Corners of room and bathroom dirty. No decor at all. Poor lighting. Lobby restroom gross. Broken soap dispenser with parts strewn about. Floor not swept. Free breakfast was, well free. Wonderbread for toast. Really?
