We stayed at the Potters Heron for a wedding in the local area. We had a pleasant stay but I would like to say the hotel felt a little sticky in places.It could do with a revamp tbh. However, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. Breakfast was plentiful and restocked continually. I felt sorry for the girl in the breakfast room on Sunday morning she seemed to be the only staff member working and was rushed off her feet! She did a great job though and deserves a medal!! Not sure if it was value for money?

The staff were pleasant, hardworking and helpful. The room was comfortable but tired, for example the carpet in our room needed replacing. The evening menu was very restricted but food was good and well presented. Cooked breakfast was not very hot and both poached and scrambled eggs very overcooked.

We stayed 2 nights over the New Year. It is very near my family so very convenient. We had our dog with us and were given an amazing room on the ground floor with a door to the garden. Very convenient. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I won't stay anywhere else now when I visit the family. Food is very good, we have eaten here with family before, and we were able to take dog into breakfast so no worries about leaving him in the room. We thoroughly recommend this hotel! Thank you Potters Heron for a lovely stay. The dog loved it too!

Comfortable spacious room and bed. Good location, lots of parking. Very friendly restaurant staff, reasonable food. My only complaint is that the room had an unpleasant smell and the decor was quite tired, but we were in a dog friendly one so maybe that was why.
