This hotel is an excellent choice! It was clean, comfortable, the room was spacious and in excellently furnished. The staff was very polite and professional, and the amenities are exceptional. The only flaw was the elevator...it was functional, but not smooth, and was a bit unnerving. I mentioned it to the desk clerk, and she said that the elevator company had ordered a part to repair it. We come to Shawnee several times a year, and always try to stay at the La Quinta. It is our hotel of choice!

The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the elevator was out and our room was on the second floor and I am recovering from knee surgery. The clerk was very apologetic (not her fault) and offered a different hotel but we were tired and ready to call it a night! Breakfast wasn't the greatest, but our server was very attentive and was constantly checking on the food and guests.

Nice clean hotel and pool was available. Has a nice pond out back and you can sit and watch the turtles and fireflies. Bed comfortable. Clean. Ac worked well. Staff nice and helpful. Stray dogs in the area which was sad and issues with people dumping them. Two friendly ones sat by us. Heartbreaking . Would stay again.

Be prepared for your key card not to work. Multiple times we would get back to the hotel and have to have our key reprogrammed. It was frustrating. Other than that the stay was nice.
