Convenient location if touring the Inishowen Peninsula. Nice hotel, nice location in lovely grounds. Rooms very nice, restaurant nice, lounge seating area pleasant. Breakfast somewhat disappointing, fresh fruit salad not fresh fruit and consequently taste not what you would expect from a fresh fruit salad. Staff needed more guidance, request for tea/coffee followed by a 10 minute wait and a further request. Did not use the leisure facilities, parking excellent, reception staff very helpful and otherwise itwas a nicelocation to stay in.

The hotel was extremely busy when we arrived so the check in was very slow. There were also queues at the bar. We had booked to play golf , but when we went to pay our green fees we were told it was captains day and the course was closed to visitors despite us having been booked in. We were very disappointed as this was the reason for our stay! Having said all this our room was lovely, large , quiet and overlooking the lough. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening, again it was very busy and some wines and meals had run out but what we had was good. Breakfast was excellent everything was replenished quickly and very good and fresh. Staff in general were very hard working and helpful. I would stay again but at a quieter time of year.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely spacious room with a sea view. Bathroom would need to be updated. It was perfectly adequate but radiator was quite rusty and bath panel had seen better days.Breakfast and dinner both good. Staff all very friendly.

Our room was very nice but no shower in bathroom, just shower head in bath. Breakfast was tasty but a little cold, dinner was ok , nothing special about it. Dinner table wasn’t cleaned properly, very sticky. Now the pool area, the pool itself was great, lots of jets. The decor around the pool area was badly in need of a facelift, tiles missing on walls , shower outside sauna not working properly and was very dirty.The changing room had no cubicles for parents with kids to change. The lockers had to be locked with a padlock which in this day and age surely there must be a better system. Played a round of golf and it was probably the worst greens I’ve ever played on. Stayed for two nights, overall it was very expensive for what you get. Wouldn’t stay there again
