Staying at an old, historic hotel located right in the city center was an unforgettable experience. Since it’s a renovated heritage building, the facilities are somewhat dated and less convenient compared to modern hotels, but I personally loved the classic charm of the building and interior. Staying in a suite with a spacious room, a large bed, and two balconies made me feel genuinely spoiled. Having a varied breakfast in the central garden, surrounded by giant old trees, was also a truly special highlight. On the downside, the water pressure was low, the shower hose in the shower booth was broken, and there was soot on a towel and a bathrobe.

Perfect stay. The hotel is just old world charm personified, in a great location opposite the river and very close to walk street for evening dining. The beds were comfy and the rooms quiet. Everything was the same as the pictures online. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. The buffet breakfast in the courtyard was amazing. Highly recommend.
