⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a lovely stay at The Royal Oak in Rosthwaite. It’s a beautiful, quaint hotel with so much character, set in a gorgeous location. The staff were absolutely fab — so friendly and welcoming — and the food was fantastic. Everything about the hotel made it feel relaxed and homely, and we really enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely recommend The Royal Oak to anyone looking for a lovely Lake District break. We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️

What a beautiful property! The rooms are spacious and lovely with comfy beds, we slept with the window open to hear the babbling brook that runs along next door. Gorgeous hotel, rooms were well appointed... No TV was an added bonus! Lounge area was lovely to sit in the evening, playing one of the many boardgames. Restaurant was a little cramped (but this might have been due to the beautiful Christmas tree that was on display) but the food was incredible! We will definitely be back!
