It's the third time we are staying at the Durrant. The hotel is lika coming to a mansion in the Cotswold but you are in down-town London. The lounge areas are very cosy and the room we had was as well (the room had a renovated bathroom). Breakfast is excellent but rather expensive. For a quick breakfast there are several cafés in the neighbourhood. The staff is polite but could be a little bit more attentive. We will come back!

I loved my stay at Durrants. I had a large airy comfortable room. The bathroom was quite dated with weak water pressure but the water was hot and towels large and fluffy. The hotel itself is very charming with lots of lovely cosy seating areas. Staff are plentiful and well trained. Marylebone is my favourite area in London as it has a lovely village atmosphere in great proximity to central London and major tube lines. Loads of great cafes , restaurants and shops just a few steps away yet the hotel itself is very peaceful and quiet. I would definitely return albeit not in the summer as other guests have noted discomfort from the heat.

Durrants is a lovely hotel with many seating nooks dotted around. Staff all v friendly and helpful. For visitors who are more used to big international chain hotels it may be a shock to learn the bar closes at all let alone 11.00pm.

What a great 6 days stay. Lovely historic hotel maintained exceptionally well. Long history of being a hotel and the neighborhood had wonder restaurants and independent shops. The staff was very friendly, we loved the small ‘pub’ bar for a nightcap and breakfast was excellent too. Our new fav London hotel.

A comfortable and characterful hotel not too far from Baker Street tube. The public rooms are very well appointed and pleasant; the table served traditional breakfast was very good. My single room was small but acceptable. The hotel is convenient for the Wigmore Hall and very convenient for the Wallace Collection, which is over the road.

What do you mean by amenities? My room was fine but my daughter’s was not. She was moved to a better one, but it caused some inconvenience. This is a beautiful and historic hotel in a convenient location. The food was excellent and so was the service at the bar.

The room was cheerful and large enough for the two of us to move around comfortably. I appreciated the bathrobes and slippers and that the television came with apps including Netflix. There was no air conditioning but the room had a fan that kept the temperature down. The staff were very helpful- arranging a restaurant reservation, finding a driver to take us to Heathrow. We felt well cared for and look forward to returning to Durrant’s.
