Our room was clean but basic. Bed was comfortable. Shower cubicle was on the small side. The staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Great location in the heart of the old town, beautiful historical building, staff friendly and extremely helpful. We had a superior double room on the first floor and it was great. No view to speak of and quite compact room but great bathroom with powerful shower. TV in the room, fridge, A/C., safe. We were very comfortable and had a great week. Breakfast was continental and served in the cloisters which was lovely.

Fantastic Hotel in Alghero

Great hotel right in the centre of the old town. The staff were warm and welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered a great choice of food and fruit. Hotel atmosphere is unique with peace and quiet in the central courtyard. Definitely a unique experience and well worth a visit. No hesitation recommending this hotel for a few days stay in Alghero.

Good location. Being refurbished so I’m sure it will be better soon but the hotel is tired and is in need of the upgrade. Breakfast is very basic. Setting for breakfast is lovely, looking out into the historic courtyard.

6/10 Good

Great location and the breakfast area looking down on the courtyard is beautiful. The rooms are small and very basic. No fridge or TV but they have air conditioning. Both mornings I was woken up to hammering and drilling outside my window and this continued through breakfast. Not sure why they couldnt do this work in the off season. Parking around town is a nightmare. Drove around for an hour looking for a spot.

What an amazing experience! This stay was extraordinary cool with all the history connected to the place. Located in the very heart of of the vibrant old town, only a short walk from the beach. The rooms were superfresh and newly refurbished. We enjoyed this stay immensely!

2/10 Poor

The photos on here are a lie, they are AI generated photos showing rooms that don't exist. We had the opportunity to see two rooms as out first one reeked of sewer gasses in the moring. Here is what they actually look like. The floors are dirty, after taking a shower and walking to the bed my feet were covered in dirt and debris. If you like a dirty hotel with small moldy showers this is the place for you.

Very nice staff, the man at the front desk recommended us a very nice scenic Route to our next Destination in Cagliari, which was worth the drive! Very friendly and a nice spot for breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at the Francesco Heritage Hotel. The staff were very helpful and obliging unfortunately we did not get the room that was showing on the website even though I did check before arriving and the room we were given was not finished as there was a lot of tiling grouting and sealant that needed snagging. We did not have a mini bar to start with, but that was delivered after the first three days and there was no table or chair which was a bit inconvenient but otherwise the room was nice. Great location in the wonderful old town of Alghero.

Hi, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were brilliant it was just our room was not finished of very well after what looked like a recent refurb, the sink was propped up with a steel bar, shower taps were not sealed in and there were numerous electric points with no front socket on so just wires in show...
