Lovely comfortable stay

This is a lovely little hotel , very cozy we didn't need anything, warm and also aircon in the rooms. Only thing was shower was extremely hot , whether they can make sure the cold setting is on first, it took a few minutes to figure , but better cold than hot first in my opinion, we have already a booking to go back , looking forward to new year here .

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the room we had was quite spacious. The Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent, with a great choice of the usual Indian dishes as well as some not found in most Indian restaurants in England. Stayed for two nights. So very basic. Had to ask for clean mugs as nobody came to check up on room. Got the same mugs but just rinsed off. No breakfast offered because of Eid. The guys working there were actually nice though and the restaurant had delicious food.

Ideal hotel for a couple of nights

I stayed at the King Hotel for a couple of nights while my wife was at Benenden hospital for an operation. The hotel room was very clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels, shower gel, coffee & tea and biscuits for a two night stay. Really good shower in the en suite. Parking right by the room ( chalet type). Free wi fi as well. The Indian Restaurant ''The Raja of Kent'' is next door to the hotel and I went there for a meal on the first night. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent.
