Evva was really friendly and helpful, and our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. We didn't like the fact that the shower was handheld only. Also, the villa is located at the stop of a very steep hill, so although the town enter is not far away, it's not the easiest walk.

A beautiful spot in a lovely village. We only wish we had stayed longer. Beds and rooms are spacious well lit and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious fresh food with coffee and fresh orange juice. It’s the same every day so if you like variety best be prepared to cook in your room or walk. Easy but somewhat hilly walk to the main square, full of vibrant tavernas with good food. Excellent friendly service from the staff.

We stayed at this unique traditional country-style hotel in Archanes-Asterousia for two nights, and it was a wonderful choice. The hotel features a charming inner courtyard that adds to its authentic atmosphere. We arrived from Heraklion International Airport much earlier than the check-in time, but the manager, a young woman named Ieva (apologies if the spelling is incorrect), was incredibly kind and welcomed us without hesitation. She even helped us with our heavy luggage. She first showed us the room we had originally booked, and then offered us the option to upgrade to a larger apartment. We chose the upgraded apartment, which had two spacious separate rooms. Each room was decorated in a traditional country style, with charming small windows that perfectly reflected the authentic character we were looking for. Our apartment was equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hotel is located on a hillside in a small town surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The town itself is full of pretty cobbled streets, colourful houses with well-tended gardens, and quaint cafés and tavernas. On our first evening, we were lucky enough to have dinner at a small taverna where five local musicians performed traditional live music and singing, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious authentic Cretan breakfast with an egg omelet, Greek yogurt, orange juice, and a variety of sweet pastries. At this lovely authentic hotel we felt like at home.

Hôtel très agréable. Studio très bien équipé. Belle petite piscine. Nous avions une chambre en haut avec un escalier assez raide. Il y a d'autres studios sans cet inconvénient. Bien situé sur les hauteurs de Archanes avec accès à pied au centre. Ruelles étroites pour arriver en passant par le village, préférez un contournement pour arriver à l'hôtel

Quiet place in interesting city

Charmant et très bon accueil par Vassilis

Séjour juste d 1 nuit mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu, belle maison rénovée très propre et pitoresque, amabilité de Vassilis , raki à l’accueil et beaucoup d explications pour trouver taverne dans le village le soir, un must le petit dej très typique avec des plats sales et sucrés...un vrai festin pour la journée pour 10€/pers

Très agréable séjour dans un grand appartement bien aménagé, décoré avec goût, lit Kingsize, cuisine bien équipée, salle à manger et salon accueillants,belle salle d'eau et ravissant patio extérieur avec une petite piscine. On peut également s'installer autour du patio à de petites tables devant chaque appartement. Possibilité d'y prend un fabuleux petit déjeuner, délicieux et hypercopieux pour 10 € par personne Le personnel est aux petits soins et source de bons conseils de visites et d'activités variées...

Lovely authentic cretan rooms.

All of the rooms are very well kept.authentic decor. Lovely outdoor area with a nice central pool to relax around. Very helpfully hosts, walk down the hill to the village archanes for traditional food and hospitality. Would definetly stay again at villa archanes.
