If you are staying outside of Venice, but looking for a peaceful and well located commuter town, this property is a good option. It is conveniently located near the main train station to get into Venice, and the bus stop is also around the corner.
Overall, the communal areas of the hotel are maintained to the standard of a 4* hotel, but the rooms need some inprovement. The main issue is the bathroom, which has visible mould around the shower. The ceiling is also experiencing damp. The rooms themselves are a good size, with a comforable bed. There was also a kettle with a selection of herbal teas. A hotel with this rating should really provide slippers - there is no point showering, only to then collect dust and bring it in to the bed.
Breakfast was excellent, there was always a good selection of sweet and savoury options. The main lady in charge of breakfast (with the dark hair) needs to make a rule and stick with it - you either let people with bags in, or you don't. There can't be different rules for different guests...
