Hotel that works with tour operators. Families book for several days. You get the same kind of lousy food and entertainement as in the cheap cruise ships in the Baltic. For people just seeking sunand who don't care about making a difference when travelling.

The hotel is right on the beach with beautiful view. They offered an inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. It was a large buffet but not a high quality food. We liked the variety of entertainment every night they offered.

Decent hotel. Great place for pools and the sea. Food was good and varied each day, entertainment also good. Staff were very friendly. Room was ok, everything you need in there, in our shower the curtain was about 6 inches off the floor so the room got pretty wet but apart from that it was all good.

The staff seemed overwhelmed, dirty dishware sat out for hours on tables. The bathroom was mouldy in many locations, and there were nail clippings on the floor in both the bathroom and the room.

Très bon séjour

Hotel bien situé en bord de mer et rénové en 2023. Repas sous forme de buffet varié. Personnel agréable et au petit soin. En formule all inclusive plus,chambre sur classée et super cocktails. Un grand merci à Murielle qui est très attentive aux besoins des clients, à l écoute,une belle rencontre Murielle est Française ce qui facilite les échanges. Merci aussi à Mme Pénelope.

Staff was helpful and kind, enjoyed the evening traditional Cretan dance performance which was wonderful. Beach & pools were clean. Opted for the inclusive package, food and drinks with a family was great option with a family of 4. Balancing view of the sea was wonderful to wake up to in the morning. Only downfall on our whole time there was our air conditioning unit in our room was not as cool as we are used too. Overall would recommend this property.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming! Particularly the ladies on reception and the guys on the bar. Catering staff were fantastic too, nothing was ever too much hassle. The hotel was a great place for couples or lone travellers, very quiet and tucked away so perfect to relax if you’re just seeking to relax for a few days in the sun. The all inclusive was perfect, plenty of food and drink on offer and definitely would advise going for the gold band. Not much more expensive but you have free choice of everything including branded drinks etc. All in all a perfect little chilled, relaxed holiday and we will absolutely be back!

Questo albergo è stato sicuramente una bella esperienza! Ci siamo trovati benissimo fin dall’inizio. È diviso in due parti con una piccola stradina che lo collega al lungomare di Kalyves. Ha due piscine, due porzioni di spiaggia private, bar a bordo piscina e ristorante interno ed esterno con affaccio su un piccolo fiume che sfocia nel mare! Un’oasi di pace e relax! La struttura è ben organizzata ed offre anche la pensione completa che consiglio assolutamente. La sera trovate spettacoli per piccoli e poi per grandi. Buona cucina e per chi vuole anche una sala giochi ed una palestra! Avevamo la stanza migliore sopra la piscina e con l’affaccio sul mare, una meraviglia. Unico neo se proprio va trovato riguarda le pulizie in camera che andrebbero fatte meglio a mio avviso. Il resto TOP!

Hôtel à taille humaine et très bien placé

Séjour très reposant dans cet hôtel de Kalyves, proche de la Canée, mais aussi et surtout, à proximité des plages et des commerces de cette petite station balnéaire (restaurants, agences de location, excursions, etc.). La chambre, vue latérale mer, était spacieuse, à l'exception peut-être de la salle de bain, et plutôt au calme par rapport à celles situées face à la plage (elles donnent sur l'espace bar-piscine où ont lieu les animations le soir...). L'hôtel en soi est très correct et le personnel discret. Le buffet propose beaucoup de choix avec des plats locaux mais aussi du classique pour les enfants. Rien à dire niveau qualité-prix. Nous avons également apprécié les 2 piscines car la mer était très agitée avec de nombreuses vagues (drapeau rouge pour la baignade !). Mais il est possible de trouver un endroit plus calme en allant tout au bout de la plage, à 600 mètres environ de l'hôtel.

After booking a room with a sofa bed and soft bed topper as well as informing the hotel that this was due to traveling with someone who was disabled, we were only given a double room with the hardest mattress and told we could not have a soft bed topper untill the next day. However this was sorted then next day and we were able to move to the room we had booked. Food and beer were what you would expect from a budget hotel, with some poor dishes and some good ones, choice was also quite repetitive. Anyone who enjoys all inclusive, will be ok

We had a really relaxing time at the Kalyves beach hotel. What wasn’t clear to us at booking was the “all inclusive” and “all inclusive welcome gift” option. We went for the latter which gave us the “all inclusive plus” package at the hotel and was well worth the small extra cost, giving us unlimited cocktails, room upgrade and discount on the spa. Excellent value for money and still easily got enough for us (27c) at the end of September. The buffet food selection was great for us too as we could pick and choose what we wanted. We loved the stay and the entertainment in the night arranged by Momo was excellent too. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help we felt so looked after and pampered! Fully recommended!

Seems to be a staffing issue at this hotel, the girls on reception were very polite with the exception of one lady called Ria who seemed determined to make things difficult rather than being helpful, we think a customer service coarse may be due!! Also the bar staff were very overworked and at peak times couldn’t cope with the volume of orders. The cleaning was very hit and miss maybe again due to lack of staff? The room was very small and suitcases had to put onto the balcony.

The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns. Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain! The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also charged extra and we’re unsure really what that was for. Also we have been twice to this hotel, the first time when booking we had the option available to go all inclusive plus but the second time that option wasn’t available until we arrived at the hotel and it was quite steep compared to the first time we visited the hotel and with not much difference to the basic all inclusive package. After all a gin and tonic is a gin and tonic be that from the local gin or branded big name gin. Overall though, lovely place to stay and the staff are amazing! So helpful and super polite! Will absolutely be back again!

Hotel assez mauvais séjour pour 2 adultes 1 enfant en all inclusive plus . A notre arrivée nous avons été "surclassé" dans une chambre vue piscine mais double . Impossible de changer nous avons ete forcé de dormir a 3 sur 2 lit simple collé ce qui est inacceptable . Le lendemain nous avons eu un lit supplémentaire d'une qualité épouvantable et très instable. Nous avons été obligé de faire un scandale pour avoir une chambre correct qui as donc fini par arriver le 3eme jour !!! . Le personnel est peu aimable mais serviable dans la limite de leur possibilité . Le ménage dans la chambre ressemble plus a du rangement qu'à du nettoyage. Le buffet varie chaque jour mais seulement sur une semaine comme les animations . La qualité est moyenne et nous avons été plusieurs a etre malade le même jour. Les boissons sont a fuir . Ne vous attendez pas a des jus pour les enfants ce sont des sirop très sucré. les boissons de "marque" mentionné ne sont que des marques locale donc pas de boisson standard (coca cola ,ice tea). Les cocktails sont mauvais, avec la "formule plus" ils sont un peu meilleurs mais les barman peuvent se montrer desagreable car c'est plus long a faire et qu'ils n'ont pas envie . Habitude grecque ou non le personnel se parle très mal entre eux voir se crie dessus public . C'est un hôtel calme et familial dans l'ensemble mais de tres mauvaise qualité pour le all inclusive. La plage et la vue sont tres bien
